How To Enable Cookies

In order to access most ot the Midland Computers website, you will need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser. To do so, please follow the instructions below:

Internet Explorer (6.0)

  1. Select 'Tools' from the top menu
  2. Choose 'Internet Options'
  3. Click on the 'Security' tab
  4. Click on 'Custom Level'
  5. Scroll down until you see section labled 'Scripting'
  6. Under 'Active Scripting', select 'Enable' and click OK

Netscape Navigator (4.8)

  1. Select 'Edit' from the top menu
  2. Choose 'Preferences'
  3. Choose 'Advanced'
  4. Choose 'Scripts & Plugins'
  5. Select the 'Enable JavaScript' checkbox and click OK

Mozilla Firefox (1.0)

  1. Select 'Tools' from the top menu
  2. Choose 'Options'
  3. Choose 'Web Features' from the left navigation
  4. Select the checkbox next to 'Enable JavaScript' and click OK

Apple Safari (1.0)

  1. Select 'Safari' from the top menu
  2. Choose 'Preferences'
  3. Choose 'Security'
  4. Select the checkbox next to 'Enable JavaScript'

Please keep in mind that upgrading your browser or installing new security software or security patches may affect your JavaScript settings. It is a good idea to double-check that JavaScript is still enabled if you notice problems displaying pages on our website.

My basket is always empty

This is a symptom of not having cookies enabled within your browser. It is neccessary to store small amounts of data on your PC to be able to log you in and allow you to add items into your basket. This is a common pratice of web site developers.

I cannot view larger images

This is most likely because you are running a Pop-up Blocker program that is preventing the loading of the larger picture in another window.
Please read your browser or pop-up blocker documentation to see how to correct this.

Payment Methods

We accept all major credit and debit cards without surcharges. Alternatively payment can be made by cheque, but we will have to wait for clearance before sending goods, this can delay your order by up to 3-4 days. For some companies we offer 30 day account facilities, please contact the sales team for application details - 01952 588688.

Cards can be taken on-line using our Secure SSL shopping system or by calling us directly. For cheque payment you still enter your details into the shopping cart system, but simply enter cheque as your payment method.

Please quote any reference numbers associated with your order. If you decide to cancel after shipment, then you will be liable for payment of any delivery/collection charges. All components are covered by a full manufacturers warranty for a minimum of one year. Many manufacturers will offer a longer warranty their description.
Midland Computers PC have warranties specified on their details and quotations.
On-Site warranties are only valid for UK mainland.
